Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Warner Home Video will release the recent Tim Burton adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (starring Johnny Depp) in separate Standard and Deluxe Editions on November 8th. Both releases will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers, along with a Dolby Digital 5.1 EX audio track. Extras on the single-disc Standard Edition will include a "Oomp-Loompa Dance Machine", a "Becoming Oompa-Loompa: How Did They Turn One Man into Thousands of Oompa-Loompas?!?" documentary & the theatrical trailer. Extras on the 2-disc Deluxe Edition will include 5 featurettes, 4 interactive challenges (Oompa-Loompa Dance Machine, The Inventing Machine, The Bad Nut and Search For the Golden Ticket), a documentary, and more.

The new one is more closely based on the novel that both are based upon. The first one is good in its own right but not how it was intended.
