2 Nights In

I have now stayed 2 nights at my new place. I still have a few smaller things to get moved but for the most part I am moved in... well, I need to get to unpacking all the boxes now. I won't have my own computer set up at my new place for a while. I'm sure that G will occassionally let me hop on hers to check my email and check the blogs. I'm getting the drift from my parents, mainly my dad that he is ready for me to be completely out. As soon as I get everything out of here I'll probably only be stopping by for mail. That is until I get everything switched over.

I had an eventful day yesterday of accidentally letting G's dog out of the house. Not on a leash but more along the lines of he got by me and bolted about 3 blocks. That dog is FAST. That was during my hour break between both jobs. Not how I was planning on spending that time.

I have today off from the Day Job. Good Friday. I slept in and it was wonderful. I went and bought a new belt since I broke mine yesterday morning. Now I am at my parents' place and today is my mom's birthday.

Also, sorry to those who cannot post comments without being a member of blogger/blogspot/google. But I don't want annoymous posts on here anymore. I feel that if someone has something to say then they should be man or woman enough to have their name attached to the comment. As a few of you have done you can email me comments. Or if we are friends on myspace you can leave me messages there. Or just chat with me in person!!! I am working the door tonight at Brown's from 9-1am as usual.

Almost There

Well, I have nearly everything moved in except the majority of my clothes and a few other things which have yet to be dug out of my closet. By saying everything is moved means that I have transported it over there. Is there any organization of what I have taken to my new place? Nope. I have yet to get the time for that. So far haven't spent a night there yet but I assume within the next day or 2. I've just been working a ton like usual and fitting in the moving and organizing sucks.

Other things... I had a wonderful weekend. A ton of people came out this weekend and that always makes things more fun. Ed and Amanda were home for the weekend and I saw them all 3 days. Yay! Shoo and GTG came out both F and Sa nights. Yay! Philly cream cheese is MIA. I called him a few times but no call back... hmmm. Philly? Where are you?

I even got a drunk call from the boy up north, Crowy. We touched based and it'll be over a month before he heads down south for a visit.

Today was a long day. Worked both jobs. We are on break currently with the day job which means I work a solid 8 hour shift. Then I got to go home and eat, shower, and change and head to the night job. Wahoo! I opted not to go to the Lace this evening after the night job because I have to get up early in the morning and I need to head to bed.

My sisters are coming into town this weekend. I'm looking forward to that. Plus my mom's birthday is Friday which is the reason why they will be here. I hope to have my shiznit organized by then so they can see my new place!

So that is all I've got for now. Sorry my posts have gone to about weekly, I've been busy and haven't had much to post about.

Nothing New-ish

I've been sick(yes, again) I don't know what it is really. I don't think it is the flu. It is a sort of no energy, feverish, sinusy, dry cough thing. I've been taking the necessary precautions such as no alcohol, plenty of sleep, staying hydrated, and medicating myself. I think that I am getting better as it started around Thursday and I am feeling better but not 100% yet.

Moving is coming along slowly. As I have said before, packing up my entire life is hard and is a slow process. There is a lot of stuff to sort through to either, keep, throw out, or burn. I do have my car packed with one load to take over right now with about 6 to 8 boxes and a television in my front seat which I hope to unload tomorrow after my day job. Also packing between jobs is no fun. Since I'm still working quite a bit it is hard to pack when I am exhausted from all the working. I'm just ready to be moved out and then moved in. I wish I could wiggle my nose and make it all be done.

This coming Friday and Saturday I am working both nights at Brown's. Friday 9-1 like usual and then a special appearance by me on Saturday from 7pm-1am. Everyone should come down and hang out. Blow off a little steam and throw back a few cold ones.

Blog Post 1000

Huzzah! This is my 1000th blog post since I started blogging back in March of 2004. Crazy how time flies.

My life status is finally changing a little bit. I am moving out of the parents house for good. It is about time too. I'm moving to the northside of town. A friend has been gracious and invited me to live at her place for an affordable price in a really nice duplex.

Right now I am taking a break from cleaning. Throwing crud away so that I can get to the actual packing. It is weird to pack up your whole life. Decide what you need, what you want, and what you can live without. I want to take as much as I can but at the same time I don't want to start my new place off with a bunch of clutter from my childhood. I hope to be moved out/moved in by the 1st of April.

Spring is in the air. It's getting to that time when those who are not already in relationships seek out relationships. Why is it that Spring brings on the dating? I think it is the fact that it has been cold and people have been couped up and they are now looking to make a connection of sorts.

I'll be there someday. I look forward to the day when I fall off the map.

Could this possibly be true???

I am moving out. Not tomorrow, not next weekend, but the plan is by then end of the month. I've got a lot of packing to do. Peace.
